drool pools

I get it that people in demand can name their price.

But my initial response to hearing that it’s considered cool to bring in the drool was well, a dry heave.

Are there really people who are up front about wanting to be courted with drool?  If so, is this really as nasty as the taste I had in my mouth when I heard the “drool factor” was a discussion point in a public forum about choosing where to volunteer?

I don’t know, but it just doesn’t feel right that people seeking donations of other people’s time, talents and compassion should have to drool to get it.

On the other hand, if that’s what it takes to make the world a better place, open up and let the spit drip.
