not that man

The commercial with the good looking and oh so attentive man painting his woman’s toes is one of my favorites right now and it’s changing my outlook.

He’s just so mythical, he makes it cool for men not to be him and cool for women not to want him.

And while I’m quite sure I’ll now fall harder for the guy wearing the “not that man” t-shirt than the one with the pedicure kit and steady hands (which is good because it increases my dating pool), I’m a little anxious about the “not that man” demographic when it comes to my greeting cards.

Feeling the odds are slim that “not that man” will even read my cards, I’ve been doing a little market research.

Nine out of the ten men I’ve asked, said their wives would drop dead if they ever received a card from them with toe painting words the likes of mine.

I’m not sure what to think about this yet.
