It seems so simple once it clicks into place.
So simple you wanna smack your forehead.
You’ve stared at the instructions off and on for days, weeks — years.
Miraculously they’ve survived your foot stomping tirades. Your stormings outta the room.
Smothering and hovering. And sobbing in a heap.
You’ve fumbled and forced. Applied pressure here — and there. Turned it upside down and sideways.
Shook it silly.
And then one day.
You just pick up the pieces and without thinking, guide them into place.
Pop, right where you belong.
And you’re stunned. How did I do that?
Well — you didn’t. And yet —
By the grace of God, you did.
