During our prolonged wait for it to stop snowing in Minnesota in the spring of 2013, I painted several floral arrangements to provide a diversion — and some much needed humor.
Today I look at the collection and more than a pleasant distraction comes to mind. This one, in particular, wears a brand of revelry perfect for a stubborn spring runway.
In some sense, waiting becomes enchanting —
And the renewal all the more celebratory.
I love to paint in threes to honor the trinity and invite myself to experience it in new ways. These three souls are dancing, hearts lifted.
They’re together in exaltation, “feet” off the ground —
And the heavens applaud with tremulous joy.
