I composed this piece with equal parts of agony and ecstasy — the raw ingredients I have come to equate with transformation.
It is bold and tender —
Worn and fresh —
And it comes from this place of mysterious, loving darkness.
Each time I view this piece I discover something new — a sharp edge that disturbs, or a gentle curve I want to curl myself up in —
But the heart of this piece remains its focal point —
The one source that feeds both the stem and the bloom.
This is truth for all forms of life at all times all over the world.
Namasté.
