road calling

In any process, or journey, there is a point in time when one just knows —

“I’ve come too far and there is no turning back.”

This piece is about the solemnity of this moment —

And the freedom it grants.

Sure, what lies ahead is unknown, but the experience of now is utterly true —

Real.

For me, the “road calling” right now is related to the first commandment — loving God.

How do I love God?

I am learning that the answer is —

To let God love me.

Allowing God to create me — and to accept the creation that I am is answering the call to love God.

I am on the road, this road, and I am trying —

And that is all I know.
