On a walk down Nicollet Mall in March 2013, I spotted this trio behind glass.

I am especially drawn to honoring the trinity in my work —

And this delicate stem holding three overlapping blooms was captivating.

The deep red orange pot was such a fabulous choice by the window dresser, I wanted to cheer!

Today I see the tiny container as a metaphor for spiritual ground.  It reminds me that we can’t always choose our ideal place from which to bloom — in fact, limitations may actually serve us more than we imagine.

Bloom anyway.

Wherever you are, God is —

And all is well.
